what is Homestead Exemption?

It’s that time of year again, if you follow me, you may have seen my reminder to file your Homestead!

1. Homestead Exemption is a tax break for your primary residence.
   If you hold a secondary residence like a vacation home or AirBnb, you don’t need to file homestead for it because it’s not eligible!

2. Take your signed deed to your local tax assessor’s office

3. File by September 30th
